Jakab Winterl, the professor of the botany and chemistry made the firs botanic garden in 1771. It’s helpful from the beginnings for the education of medical and pharmacists, and in addition there’s other important task: the flora research. From 2006, by the new statue of higher education the Botanic Garden is the University’s special education unit, and their’s mission to retain this 230 years old passion - and fit to the national requirements – would like to continue the Botanic Garden’s activities.
