Between 2021 and 2025, under the coordination of the University Library and Archives, ELTE libraries were equipped with RFID devices worth more than 150 million HUF. Ensuring the continuous operation of the acquired devices is the responsibility of the Department of Information Technology and Development, in cooperation with the device suppliers if necessary. If you encounter any problems with an RFID device, please report it at ikr@lib.elte.hu.
MTMT administrator training The Institutional Administrator of the ELTE MTMT provides regular training for faculty MTMT administrators. The training courses cover the tasks of the administrator, the operation and use of the database, and the most frequently asked questions about teaching and authorship. Training requests are welcome at mtmt@lib.elt.hu.
The University Library Service (ULS) carries out its work processes and tasks in a quality management system in connection with the ELTE's quality improvement programme. The Quality Manager of the ULS contributes to the operation of the quality management system and ensures the implementation of the quality policy and quality objectives in the libraries of the network.
The ELTE University Library and Archives is responsible for the regular content provision through the quarterly EKSZ-CHANGE newsletter published on the common  Kolibri librarian mailing list and the University Library Service portal, as well as through news published on social media platforms.  Media reports are regularly collected and archived on the website, while access to statistical information is ensured through the communication forums. A monthly newsletter is published with highlights of the University Library Service.

According to the EMMI Decree 32/2017 (XII. 12.) on the further training of cultural professionals, the ELTE University Library and Archives compiles the training and enrolment plan of the University Library Service (ULS) based on the data received from the network, coordinating the tasks of the member libraries.
Expert advice on library protection To ensure the preventive and restorative protection of ELTE's library collections, the ELTE University Library and Archives provides expert advice by conducting on-site surveys of paper collections and their storage facilities. During the survey, we identify potential damaging environmental factors and recommend optimal storage and use conditions.
The University Library and Archives provides the University Library Service member libraries with standardised forms and barcodes for the following items: reader registration form in Hungarian and English, reader's card, barcode for the library card, copy identification barcode. Professional Evaluation of Deselection and Collection Review in ULS Libraries The legal framework for deselection and inventory tasks in libraries is defined by the joint decree 3/1975. (VIII. 17.) KM-PM, as well as the ministerial directive concerning the rules on inventory control and withdrawal of library materials established by the same decree.
