Certain databases provided through the Electronic Information Service National Programme (EIS) have a limited number of Open Access publication quotas built into their subscription fees. The Education and Research Support Department at the University Library and Archives provides comprehensive administrative services regarding the OA quotas associated with the Read&Publish agreements.
In order to inform the faculty libraries about the status of their publication requests, the University Library and Archives provides up-to-date information in an online reporting spreadsheet, accessible only to the heads of libraries. Data drawn from system notifications received by the ELTE Open Access coordinator appear automatically in the dynamic spreadsheet. The coordinator manually adds the author’s faculty affiliations and confirmation of the request, verifies and corrects the automatically collected data in one business day of the notification. If the author doesn’t withdraw the request, the coordinator will approve it shortly, following the receipt of the notification and successful confirmation of the affiliation.
