Performance by the ELTE Folk Dance Ensemble as part of Cultural Heritage Days

As part of Cultural Heritage Days, our program series will open on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with a performance by the ELTE Folk Dance Ensemble in the Reading Hall of the ELTE University Library and Archives.

Founded in 1957, the ELTE Folk Dance Ensemble is dedicated to researching and promoting the authentic folk traditions of the Carpathian Basin, staging them at a choreographic level, and building community. The young adult generation is offered an alternative, based on Hungarian cultural values and beauty, which provides an opportunity for physical activity, accompanied by a community experience.
